Calling all HP Fans!!?

Tell me everything you remeber in GOF the book---not the movie and I promise the best answer will get the best answer from me personal!

it is a mark of how little I have to do that I am answering this question.

first, harry has a dream about a man named frank, who is the groundskeeper for a mansion called the Riddle House in a town that has a w in its name. Frank wakes up in the middle of the night and needs a hot water bottle for his hip because he is old and has arthritis. at this point, there is a flashback to about twenty years ago, when all of the snior riddles (that is, all of them except the son, Tom) were found dead around the dinner table in that house. There was no obvious cause of death, except that they all looked shocked and scared, so the police came to the comclusion that they were scared to death.
Anyways, whole Frank is getting his hot water bottle, he notices some lights on in the upstairs of the house. he think it is the town's teenage trouble-makers, who like to play pranks on frank, considering how protective he is of the house, so they often vandalize the house to get frank mad. so he thinks that it is them, adn they have started a fire to get him mad.

so he goes up the hill to the house. the light is on upstairs, so he wakls up the stairs. while he is walking, a ginormous snake slithers past him, through the door at the top of the stairs. he stops at the top and listens to what is being said.

there are two voices, one called wormtail, and another one who wormtail calls master. they are discussing the murder of a boy called harry potter, and how there is someone already at a place called hogwarts to kill him, and something about the quidditch world cup, and how they tortured bertha jorkins. I remember this part especially. the master voice is congratulating wormtail for luring back to where he was staying, i think it was in albania, or a country that has an l in it. and then he says that there were guards or something on her memory, and the means he used to break through them made her of no more use to them, so he killed her.

so then he talks to the snake, and tells wormtail to get the door, because he now knows frank is there. so wormtail invites him in, and the way the room is set up, frank can't see the other voice because he's in an armchair which is facing away from him. so then wormtail turns the chair around so frank can see what's in it, and frank screams, and he kills him. the words used are "he was dead before he hit the floor" (no, i'm not looking at the book, I just remember that particular part)

so then it's the next chapter, and harry wakes up and his scar hurts. he is freaked out. so he goes to look at himself in the mirror. there is something about him listening for the swish of a cloak, or something, because he is so freaked out he thinks there's a wizard there to kill him. But there isn't, so rowling goes through the regular spiel about his appearance (black hair, green eyes, scar, glasses), and basically a racap of the entire series so far, at least the important parts. So harry's face is hot for some reason, so he goes to rest his head against the cool window. Rowling goes through the regular spiel about how Privet Drive looks at night.

the next few pages are fuzzy for me, I believe this is the time at which he gets mail from ron, hermione, and hagrid, to wish him a happy birthday, etc. ron's letter is especially interesting, because he has told harry that he is coming with ron, hermione, and the rest of ron's family (the weasleys) to watch the quidditch world cup with them, and that his parents have used the non-magical system of mial to ask his aunt and uncle (who harry lives with).

So the next day, the letter arrives, and it is covered with stamps. harry's aunt and uncle (vernon and petunia) get mad at him and don't want him to go, and they don't reply to the weasleys, so eventually mr. weasley uses the floo network to get harry, except the dursleys have blocked their fireplace and put a fake fire in front of it, so mr. weasley has to blast out the fake fireplace to get out. with him are ron, fred, and george, and here rowling goes into the looks of the weasley (red hair, freckles). Anyways, the dursleys are mad, and they tell mr, weasley that harry won't go, and vernon starts throwing glass mantlepieces at mr. weasley's head. fred and george also spill some magical taffy, which harry's cousin, dudley, eats, so his tongue starts growing. mr. weasley sends all the kids back through the fireplace, and they arrive in ron's kitchen. end chapter.

mrs. weasley is mad at fred and george for making dudley eat the candy. it is smoothed over eventually, and then we meet bill, charlie, ginny, and hermione.
mrs, weasley sends harry to unpack his stuff, then to de-gnome the garden, which he has fun doing. then they all start helping with dinner, and charlie and bill get into a table-wrestling match in which each of them makes one table float up into the air and hits the other. eventually they stop, but not before percy yells at them for making noise when he has a report to file with the ministry on the standardization of cauldron thickness for mr. crouch. everyone makes fun of him for this, so he gets mad and shuts his window again.
so they all eat, and it is delicious, etc.

harry is awoken at the crack of dawn b/c of the world cup (ireland vs. bulgaria).
they all climb stoatshead hill (wow I didn't think i would remember the name) and hermione gets a stitch in her side. here they meet the diggorys who also live in the area, as do the lovegoods and the fawcetts, I think, but neither of them could get tickets. there is a boot at the top of the hill, and when they touch it, it transports them to the quidditch field and the surrounding campground. mr. weasley rented a tent from a man named archie. harry, ron, and hermione walk off to get water for breakfast, and when they come back they meet mr. broderick bode and mr. bagman who likes to gamble. well they talk, and then they all go to the match, and it's fantastic, etc. and we are introduced to the veelas.

so they all go back from the match happy because ireland won, and they meet malfoy in the woods between the camp and the stadium, and he makes a joke about the size of ron's feet, and then voldemorts supporters come out and start kidnapping people and they all run into the woods, except harry, ron and hermione get separated from the rest of the weasleys, and harry loses his wand. so they're in a clearing and they hear somebody say a magic word and this ginormous skull things shows up in the sky and everybody screams. and then all these governemtn people show up and try to stun everybody except mr,. weasley realizes it's just the three kids. and then mr. crouch (percy's boss) walks over to where they think the voice came from and he comes out with his house-elf (kind of a magical servant) and it truns out she did the spell so she gets fired and starts having amental breakdown.

so the weasleys go back home, where they meet mrs. weasley (who stayed home) who's all frantic because she thought they'd been killed. a couple days later, they leave for school, and I have no idea what happens on the train, except I think it's raining.
dinner is delicious, etc. and the new teacher is mad-eye moody, who is kind of like a policeman except he's insane. It is announced that there will be no quidditch cup this year because of the triwizard tournament, and the students from the two other schools will be arriving soon.


Isn't it pathetic that I know all this? My fingers are really tired from typing, so bye, e-mail if you want the rest, or you could just read the book like the rest of us.

at the beginning, the weasleys don't want to tell them what's happening a t hogwarts. they get there to find out that it's the triwizard tournament and that a champion would be selected to represent their school -one from hogwarts, beaubatons (ignore the spelling), and durmstrang. the beabatons arrive in a giant, flying carriage and the durmstrangs arrive on a ship. they all put their names in, and fleur delacore, victor krum, and cedric diggory get chosen. then, the goblet spits out harry's name, and he cant get out of it. hagrid shows him that the first task is dragons, so they go to face them. using proffessor moody's help, he summons his broomstick and gets thegolden egg. when he opens it, there is a loud wailing, but he puts off trying to solve it. when he discovers that hagrid wants him to win, he uses diggory's advice and takes a bath with it. there he figures out that he would have to retrieve something from mermaids. he researches up until the night before the competition to learn how to breath underwater, but falls asleep. dobby wakes him up to tell him that the competition starts in ten minutes, and gives him gillyweed. at the challenge, he swims around, looking for ron. he finds the hostages first, but waits until the other champions come. fleur doesnt arrive, so he takes up her sister too. he was out of the time limit, but tied for first place because he showed "moral fiber". the last challenge is a maze, and there they try to find the first place cup. he encounters many obsticals, until he answers a sphinxe's riddle that puts him on the shortest path to the cup. near the end, he and diggory team up to fight a giant spider that injures harry. they argue over who takes the cup, and decide to take it together. when they touch it, they are transported to a graveyard where wormtail kills cedric and ties harry up. he performs a spell to bring voldemort a body, and he and harry duel. there, the ghosts of the people voldemort killed come back to help harry, and he escapes. there, he is taken away by moody, who reveals himself to be a death eater. dumbledore arrives, and they find that it was barty crouch junior that was impersinating moody. the real moody was at the bottom of a chest. harry is sent to the hospital wing to rest. he is woken to discover that crouch had been kissed by a dementor, and then sirius reveals himself to molly.they end the year with memories of cedric, and they return home.

at first harry has this dream where this old guy is killed by voldemort. he tells sirius.then he is sent a letter by ron who tells him that theyre gonna pick him up fron the dursleys to take him to the quidditch world cup. there he gets to sit in the top box woth the rest of the weaslys and he meets this house elf named winky because he thought she was dobby.at the end of the cup the whole irish team fills the box to accept their award. later that night after harry falls asleep and has dreams of him being on the world cup team, mr weasly wakes him and rin up bcause the death eaters are having a riot...or something of the sort.... they run into the woods, harry loses his wand, the dark mark get sent into the air, everyone freaks, winky gets let go by barty chrouch,they go back to sleep and go home in the morining.
at hogwarts dumbly announces that the triwizard tournament is gonna b held at hogwarts and that beauxbatons and durmstrang is gonna stay with them during it. when the guests arrive ron sees krum and wants his autograph. the gof is set up and fred and george try to get in with an aging potion. but they dont and get thrown back with large beards. dumbly walks up and tells them that their beards are quite amazing.
when the gof has made its decision evry1 finds out that cedric,fleur,and krum are the champions, and so is harry!
he goes into the back room where evry1 on the teachers and barty and bagman question him. he says he didnt put his name in the goblet but ha still has to compete.
in the common room ron is jealous and tells harry that he should have at least told his best friend and they get into a fight and dont ttalk to eachother 4 a while. in their first class with moody, moody shows them the unforgivable curses and neville totally freaks out. after class moody takes him in his room and gives him the herbology book.
the first task is coming and hagrid shows harry the dragons.harry telld cedric.moody tells harry what hes good at.harry practices the accio spell.uses it in the challenge to summon broom. he jumps on broom.dragon follows him to the castle. harry dodges and gets the egg. gryffindor celebrates and harry opens the egg only to fing that its emits a screeching sound. second task is coming cedric tells harry to open the egg underwater. he does and finds out that the task is gonna b in the great lake. when he gets out of the prefects bathroom he gets caught in a trick stair. drops egg. almost gets caught by snape who, almost, gets the marauders map. moody helps. harry gives moody map.them go to common room.
he spends al night b4 the task in the library under his invisibility cloak looking up how to breathe underwatr. dobby wakes him up 10 min. b4 the task and gives harry gillyweed. harry eats it when he gets to lake. ppl laugh at him.he goes underwatr and sees that he has flippers and gills. he goes towards mermaid sounds.sees ron hermione cho and fleurs sister. tries to save both hermione and ron. cedric grabes cho. krum, with a shark head, gets hermione. harry gets ron and fleur sister. goes up. attacked by the little gremlin things(i cant remember what theyre called). semnd ron and sister up first. realizes hes losing gils and flippers. uses want to get to surface. ties with cedric for first for bravery.ron makes up with harry. yule ball coming. ron and harry cant get dates so they partner up with parvati and padma patil. ron gets hideous suit. harry gets handsome suit. hermione goes with krum. harry and ron overhear hagrid talking to madame........something :) cant remember. find out hagrid is half giant :O. see beetle on raindeer that they hide behind. go back to castle.third task coming. bagman shows champions the maze.krum talks with harry in forbidden forest. barty shows up hes all wierd. harry gets dumbledore. krum unconcious. barty gone. every1 freaked. on the third task harry goes in first with cedric. (will not go into detail in the third task). harry goes past sphinx after solving riddle. cedric also there in the middle of maze trying to get cup. spider appears :O. fight spider. cup is portkey. voldemort ressurected. big fight. cedric dead. big light thing. ppl spirit come out of voldys wand. harry goes back with cedric body. moody take him to moodys room. tried to kill harry. dumbly rescue. moody fake. barty dead. harry traumatized.
end of school every1 leaves krum tells hermione to write to him.
on train hermione tells ron and harry that rita skeeter was an animangus beetle. every1 happy again

p.s. not everything is on perfect order.........reading the end of HP books always make me cry..... waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh:(.
