Random Access Memory

Pretty much says it in the name, it's the memory that your computer accesses to go faster when doing large tasks like playing games. The less you have, the worse your computer runs when playing games etc.

its memery that is used short term (ram memery requires electricity to work while a harddrive does not) so when u turn off ur computer ur ram memery gets dumped

ram is usful for making ur computer faster becouse it stores things on it and it can come back to it alot faster than using a harddrive
