Ok, I plan on entering college Fall of 2007. I am going to major in either Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Which school would you choose and why? I am leaning towards OU, but people have told me OSU has a better engineering program. I am looking for some real world experience here.

Both are good schools. I went to OSU for computers because it seems that most employers know OSU grads in computers are well taught. My nephew went to OU, and he majored in Engineering. I've heard it explained that OSU is better for the working side and OU is better for the supervisory side of things. I know OU is really tough. Even if you have a 4.0 in high school, be prepared! Most of the Grads in engineering that graduated with honours, were foreigners from other countrys. I guess our math here is not nearly as rigourous as theirs. Good luck, go visit both campuses before deciding.

As a general rule of thumb -- the University of XXXX is always a better school than the XXXX State University. Oklahoma is no exception. U of O is a much better school than OSU.

As a person who was recently accepted to OU for a similar grad position with tuition waivers and $13,000 pay and as a graduate of OU, I can say OU is the place to go. Great education and a great deal. Can't pass it up. You'll fall in love with the campus and never want to leave. That is whjy I am going back! Good Luck!
