Mine's Ron! He's such a good friend & I kinda feel bad for him sometimes when Harry gets all the spotlight.

I'm partial to Ron myself. He's funny because he's kind of awkward and he scares easily :o) I think that Harry couldn't have found a better friend than Ron, because he's always willing to go on any adventure with Harry, even when he knows it could be dangerous. And the fact that Ron wants Hermione (and vice versa) also adds to the funny characteristic he has. Ron's cute and I do feel bad for him and Hermione sometimes because Harry gets all the attention, but I guess that's why the books are called "Harry Potter and the..." and not "Ron Weasley and the..." He's a faithful sidekick, and I just love Ron! :oD

I like Dumbledore because he's so good to Harry, he's like the father that he never really had. I think it's sooo cool that somebody as old as Dumbledore and Gandalf, Lord of The Rings, can be so powerful and cool and stuff. I love the way that Dumbledore is created, too. J. K. makes him sound like one of those Grandfathers that spoil their grandchildren completely. He sounds like a really cool person. Of Course, Dumbledore is only my favorite if I'm not allowed to choose Harry. I love Harry because he's such a nicely written character. He's practically my hero. He puts up with so much and he's still such a nice person, it seems like it takes a lot to push him over the edge. I say this because it's just sooo rare that he ever gets really mad. I know I would, cuz I don't think that I could put up with anything the way that he does without being a really grumpy and mean person all the time. I think it's cool that, even though he's practically been abused all his life (except at school) that he didn't turn out to be like most people in his situation. Most people would just shut down forever and like, never be able to love anyone ever again. But not Harry. Do you think that his being a wizard has anything to do with it??

Of the major characters, Ron. I love his humor and how he's such an underdog(although Neville is definitely the biggest one) Of the minor obscur characters, the Black sisters. I am one of three, so I'm fascinated with how their sisterly dynamic worked. I always picture them as close and then when Bellatrix becomes deeper and deeper involved with Voldemort the rifts start to form. My favorite of the three sisters is Andromeda, mainly because of how Tonks turned out and there is so little information on her other than we know she married a muggle born named Ted Tonks. I read alot of fanfiction as a result of this.

Neville- I think he is just too sweet. He's had as many hard knocks as Harry yet he keeps coming back. I believe he will play a prominent part in the final book.

I also just love those rotten twins Fred and George, or as they refer to themselves as Gred and Forge. They just love getting into mischief and have dragged Ginny in along with them.

Another favorite character of mine is the Poltergeist Peeves. That guy's always causing trouble, but you notice he knows which teachers to miss with and which ones not to.

Neville.

He's a good friend, who often gets hit with the bad, but keep going.

He is still functional after haveing his parents die from the torture curse, and helps Harry out of one or two pinches.
