He is soo boring. All he talked about was stuff we knew, like decimals, and all about his Chemsitry Degree. I'm in 5th grade. Help.

Give him some grace, my friend! When you're young you don't know it, but being a sub is not easy. He may not have been in classrooms before, and if he has a Chem. degree he hasn't gone to school to teach 5th graders. Just give him some grace, let him do his best, and be helpful. He does not know your routines or your classmates, after all!

5th GRADE Huh?
hum.. Interesting. One thing is clear you become Judagemental for your Age. If he is Friendly you all interact with them and tell him that u have learnt all those way back, and ask him to teach some advanced topics, where you are all keen to learm and love to take challenging mathematical problem.

just try to pay attention.. if you know it already its not hurting to refresh.. trust me, im in college.... you will need to know that stuff here too, and not studying it for a couple years can hurt you.

if you really just cant focus on what he is saying then just look at him.. dont talk to other people because you could get in trouble. just stare at something behind him.

so just try your best to pay attention, i promise you college is really fun.... no one tells you what to do, you can be a lil late to class and not be in trouble, you can have food in the class (most teachers dont care) and do tons of cool things for free... study good and pay attention and youll be in college and making good money in no time

just tune him out and do your work. then you don't have to listen to the incessant talking plus you get a good grade and a happy teacher! i had a teacher sorta like that in 9th grade. he tried to teach us a TOTALLY new way of doing our math problem. so no one listened to him and just opened our books and did our work!
