The Earth is a place to birth souls and for those souls to gain experience. This is a place where you begin your long journey. It should not matter to you how long this place will last because the Earth is sort-of a tool that can be replaced when the time comes. The earth is not the only place in the Universe that will out -live its usefulness. Your soul lives forever and you are a child. to answer your question of how old will the Earth get? Maybe 2-4 billion years more.

There will be no end to the world. When all of mankind is trying to blow each other up. Jesus will return. Go to Jack van Impe.com , he'll prove it to you......it's been in the bible for thousands of years.
Trust me even though I'm a Christian, I'm not into some of these nuts that are out there or on tv. This guy is called "the walking bible", because he has memorized every verse and not only that, he has gone through the origin of some of the words that were translated into what we now know is the Bible. And there are huge mistakes,,,, you'd have to be a fool not to recognize it once he's proven it to you.

I think that the human race will eventually kill each other off, cause of money and more money. I believe that money is truly the root of all evil, and this will be the cause of the end of the world. The more money we have, the more harmful gadgets we purchase that contributes to global warming. 2, 3. 4 cars per household and no one walks anymore. We start wars cause of oil(money) and we will kill each other slowly. I honestly believe that if we don't change the way we live and keep going on like this, I believe 100 years at best. Countries are losing the battle to H.I.V/aids and they will kill themselves that way or just by hunger and disease. All these natural disasters happening because of the way we treat our environment. It leaves behind death, diseases and more poverty. I hope the world doesn't end, I hope it changes, changes for the better. I want my daughter to be a great grandmother one day. :)

I strongly believe the human race will cease to exist long before the earth will. This is the opinion echoed by my 7th grade science teacher back in 1987 and I was at first reluctant to believe her but I fear she is correct in her statement when I asked her about the possiblity of the World ending.
My answer to you is the world will end without the human race being around to ever witness it.Just as it had began.

yes, when our sun stops shining the world is going to end,but not for many thosands of millions of years.our sun will probably stay at it's present size for another 5,000 million years and then it will begin to change.first, the center of the sun will get smaller and hotter.the outer layers will be pushed out further by this increased heat,so the sun willgrow in size.it will becaome a red giant star,so it will grow to about a hundred times it's present size.as it does so, it will probably swallow up the planet mercury.although it's surface will be very much closer to our earth.our earth gets much hotter and then all the organisms on earth will cease to exist.

I think it will end with nuclear war. I draw this conclusion because of the continued increase in nuclear proliferation world wide. I believe that the world is even less safe now than it was at the worst times of the cold war. I believe that a nuclear war will cause mass extinction before any natural 'global warming' related events or large asteroid impacts or viruses. I cannot see us seeing out this century in any case. It is up to the future to prove me wrong.

The world will never end but the solar system will surely end as the sun blasts and the blasts will cause the planets of our solar system to burn off.

The world will not end. However, the human race will end in a few hundred years due to conflict and war. Eventually, some country is going to start a nuke war that will end in the annihilation of all humans. Cockroaches will then rule the earth.

The world will end shortly after we discover life on Saturn and we move there and start making half alien, half human babies. Then these babies will grow up to hate Earth because its such a sh!t hole and they will blow it up in a crazy rage.
Soon after they blow up Earth the Alien/human babies will take over the rest of the planets in the solar system and rule for all eternity.

The world will never end, it's particles will merely be rearranged in unpredictable ways, but it will always exist in one form or another.
As such, nothing matters.
