In no particular order-
1. Remember that teacher that you had in school? The one that you wanted to go to school for because not only were they interesting but you WANTED to learn from them? I want to be them.
2. Children are so inventive, it is interesting to see their perspective on everything.
3. Touching one child's life would fulfill mine.

1) Mom never learned to read. I know how hard it is to go thru life that way.
2) I was born to teach. After I came home on my first day of school, I tried to teach the little girls next door everything I learned that day. I still feel compelled to share anything I learn.
3) I love to use my creativity in the classroom.

I teach at a vocational college. I love teaching there because:

1) I am able to make a difference
2) To help others realize that education is key to success
3) When your students graduate it is the best feeling. You know they have worked so hard to get there.

Having love for children,wanting to help children and not having to work all year round....are 3 good reasons.

June, July, August! LOL Saw it on a magnet one time....
No really, I want to teach becuase I LOVE the feeling I get when something "clicks" within me- when I understand things. I want to give that feeling to someone else. That's pretty much all....
