Is it true that the soul doesn't die with the body? If that's the case, when you interact with a dead person, are you truly meeting that person? Does the dream seem so real, because in a way it really is?

First let me qualify--I'm not trying to convince anyone that what I believe is true for them. This is just my take on things. That said, I believe the soul is immortal. When you dream of a deceased person, you are not necessarily meeting that *person* because that particular incarnation has passed on. BUT I believe you are often meeting with the essence or soul of that person, which your dreams can best represent as the person they were. I love dreaming of my Dad that way.

Well ( MY OPINION: SO GO EASY ON THE THUMBS DOWN ) It may be a random dream. I dream about hima lot. Its kinda creepy. i love him to death though!!!! And im pretty sure he isnt trying to pass on. You cant do that if your not dead. Dont believe me? Go to michael jackson is dave dave on youtube. Haha anyway...I think personaly he may have been on your mind a lot. And if not, he was in your subconcious but you never gave it the time of day until it burst out into a dream. I had a dream last week that Michael and I were walking on a dirt road and he told me all of his personal secrets and things he never wanted to get out. After that, he gave me a stare i will never forget, and i woke up. Moral to the story is, It may be a random occurance or a thought deep down inside that you never noticed. Happens all the time.

I have had a couple of loved ones die . Actually it was my then boyfriend and then my father 6 months later. I did indeed dream of them both. In one dream they were together and my dad never had met my boyfriend and he was telling me how much he liked him. I had several for a few months after each death and I hear that when you let go of loosing them they leave and if that is true it explains why I dont dream of them anymore.

I don't know really,I am sitting on the fence a bit regarding life after death. However,I often have dreams about my grandmother.Nothing great ever really happens, they are quite mundane dreams. When I wake up though,I feel really happy and comforted, like I really had spent an hour in her company.I'm not sure what it means but it works for me!

The soul goes on forever, you can have contact with deceased loved ones, if they wish it or until they move on to be reborn...ever meet someone and felt like you know them....

It feels real. I dream of my father sometimes and I like to think of it as a visit with him. One particular dream was very real, he didn't speak, he just appeared, smiled, then disapeared. It had to be him. And I'm a major skeptic on most things.

Not necessarily but you may be encountering energy from that person. The energy never dies either.
