if there is no print on it, it may be a homemade drug.
for example,
we use 50 mg of a drug, but it comes in 100 mg doses,
so we get the gelatin caps at the health store, and split it between two pills.
costs less that way.

any pill I've used that is a prescription or over the counter has an id on the pill itself.

unless someone took it, and you are trying to figure it out, its best to throw it away.
it could be harmful, or outdated.
if someone did take it,
call the local pharmasist, or poison control.

There are several things it could be. Take it to your local pharmacist and show them, he/she may know just by looking at it or could tell by the markings if it is a major manufacturer. No one on YA can answer that accurately with this small amount of information.
