Can someone tell me the names of some fancy restaurants in LA or surrounding areas, im gonna celebrate my wedding anniversary and i want to take husband to a REALLY fancy place. Thank you to all of you who answered. Doesn't matter what kind of food, the place just needs to be nice, and romantic.

Christy, There are quite a few very fine restaurants in LA. I have consulted with a good friend of mine (Andrea) who is a restaurant consultant for a firm in Seattle,WA. Andrea really knows her stuff and has provided this list for you. She tells me that any of these would do you and your man very proud. Here we go! Andrea and I wish you a wonderful anniversary. God Bless. Richard & Andrea.

Two of my favorites are The Pacific Dining Car and Cafe LaBoheme.

Pacific Dining Car has two locations. I like the one in Downtown LA. It gets its name from the fact that the restaurant is built around an actual Pacific Railroad first class dining car. The decor is very opulent traditional and, to me, the very best steaks in Los Angeles. It's quite pricey but well worth it. Their web site is www.pacificdiningcar.com

Cafe La Boheme in West Hollywood has very decent California/French food and my favorite restaurant interior in LA. The architecture is very gothic, soaring ceilings, wood beams, massive fireplace, huge chandeliers with lots of velvet drapes and candles. I think it's very romantic. Prices here are very reasonable for the food and atmosphere. www.cafe-laboheme.com

So far I've always had great service at both these places. Hope the info helps!

I highly recommend La Cachette

It's an unbelievable French Restaurant tucked away in Century City.

Perfect for a Special Occassion!

Chaya in Beverly Hills is wonderful. We just went there last night. Make sure you get reservations or you won't be able to get in.

Here are a few other suggestions:
Parkway Grill in Pasadena
Bistro 45 in Pasadena

Wow, this is tough-LA is huge. I could reccomend something that may take over an hour to get to...would that be worth it? How romantic is commuting to dinner?

Please narrow this down to your area and people can help you out.
