In most places, you can order a new ID card online and it will get mailed to you, if your picture was stored in their computer. To get a new SSN card, you need to submit your birth certificate as well as an ID, so get the ID first.

usually, all DMVs just require your birth certificate to get a new driver's license. I would try and get a license before a social security card. Standing in those lines can be even more of a pain in the a**

bring it and your ss#, if you have memorized, it to the ss office in your area. they will help you from there.
