the equation of a curve is
y=f(x)
where f(x) =x²-10x+32.

the question then goes on to say...
y=f(x) where
f(x) =sin x where 0
c) by considering the function f(ax), sketch the graph of y= sin2x

(just explain the shape if u can)

f(x) =x²-10x+32 = 0
x^2 - 10x +25 +32 = 25 [Add 25 to both sides]
(x-5)^2 +32 =25
(x-5)^2= -7
x-5 = +/- sqrt(-7)
x = 5 +/- isqrt(7)

The solutions are imaginary complex roots.

The curve lies entirely above the x-axisand is concave upward like a U. I crosses the y-axis at y= 32.
