Good afternoon, Miss Stargazer. My name is Nation. I appreciate you coming forward with this information. Don't worry about anything. I'll take care of you. I just need you to answer a few questions and everything will be much easier if you just stay on the level with me. Alright?
I read the report. You say you shot the sheriff. Before we begin to talk about your motive - well, I shouldn't say motive - you're calling it self-defence, I need to place you at the scene on the night of the crime. So, more questions on that a little later. Alright?
Do you still have the weapon in your possession Miss Stargazer? I would appreciate it. And can you tell me what led up to this 'altercation' and what your business was at the scene? And if you were really the one who shot the sheriff, why wouldn't you have also shot the deputy? Was there someone else with you at the time?
You have to understand that there's been a number of suspects who have come forth claiming they shot the sheriff. We've got a couple musicians here in custody. But so far no leads on the one who murdered the deputy or why. This investigation has been long and tiresome. So, uhh. I would like to meet with you.

The sheriff. He thought that the deputy was the one that shot him so before he fell to the ground from your bullet he shot his deputy.
