The backaches are normal this close to labor! I do not know if the leg cramp has anything to do with labor! If your water does not break and you do not have pains 10 minutes or so apart, I'd say no labor, just that you are getting close!!!!!!!!!

It is probably the baby descending, and causing muscle spasms in you legs. I can remember those pains. Just relax, and if you notice the you are having lots of pressure, or pains that last for a consistent three to five minute intervals, then I would consult your doctor. You are in you last tri-mester so you most likely are going to the doctor every week now if you are really concerned i would ask then.

It might just be something pushing on the nerve to your leg or your muscles stretching. When I was going in to labor it felt like I had to go the bathroom (number 2) really bad but couldn't go - like bad bad gas pains that go up your back, then it stops then it starts up again....my water never broke......time it and if you see it's happening every 5 or so minutes apart you should call your doctor.

I know exactly what you're feeling. I had the back pains and the top-of-the-leg pains. After those started I went into labor approximatly 2-3 weeks later. Like every mother tells
every mother-to-be, you'll know when you're in labor.

Probably not labor...but baby may be dropping and putting more pressure on your nerve in your back. Also make sure you are getting your vitamin and proper nutrition...that helps with fewer cramps and will get your body healthy and fueled for labor.

Is it consistant and lasting for a minute at a time 5 minutes apart? No? Then its not labor.
