Where do I look? Google is out, and the articles must be submitted with the paper. I have never done this kind of research. All I know is to hide in the library and dig thru stacks of dusty journals, and that is not recommended for this project. Thanks!

I would start with the YWCA and ask to speak with a domestic violence counselor. They love to help with stuff like that and most of the keep real current.

Use scholar.google.com to find lots and lots of peer-reviewed articles. You'll be able to access some of the articles directly from its links, and for those you can't, at least you'll know which journals to look at in the library.

Meanwhile, the reason I'm responding to your question is actually because your other question was rather rudely and pointlessly brushed aside. Obama is a member of the United Church of Christ.
