...a.k.a. not at a restaraunt (which I'm good at) or an auto repair shop office, which I've done... I have a 4 year college degree in something that I can't do for the next couple years, so I need something in between... and I'm out of work at the moment... I could do reception / office / etc, but I really despise professional dress... any suggestions?

No, I'm not on probation. I am going into a "religious" career in a a foreign country with my husband, but we can't go until we have paid off most of our school debt.

Usually positions in the "Operations" sectors of corporations allow you to wear casual dress, like processors, data entry, or call centers.

Many company websites have a search category specifically for their operations centers when you search for jobs on their websites. There's also the IRS, which has many data entry jobs open now because it's tax season.

sounds like you have a lot of things you don't want to do.. you're limiting yourself.

what's your degree in that you can't use it now?? sounds like you're on probation or something.

I work in sales in a more casual industry and wear jeans most of the time. Grown ups sometimes have to get dressed up, dear.

your question has too many open ends.. can't give you an answer.. other than to go out and look. ask your prospective employer their dress expecations before you hire on.

good luck.
