Basically the animals are frequently doing their bussiness (peeing and poo-ing) inside the house even though were home to let them out. It started with our dog doing it's 'bussiness' in one specific area and then moving to other areas, and our cat does it as well now. is their anyway to stop them doing this, or any type of product i can use to stop them from to do it inside??

First, you must disinfect the affected areas and permanently deoderize them.

Then, watch your animals and be the boss! And I don't mean in any kind of a cruel way either. They are competing for dominance and/or claiming territory is my guess. If YOU are the boss (again in a GOOD way) they won't need to mark YOUR territory.

Is this a joke question?

And for goodness sakes--DON'T hit your animals like one poster suggested! Just merely say "NO!" in a stern fashion and take the animal to the appropriate area for doing their business without any further scolding. Then praise it lavishly when it does. It'll get the point, but you must be VERY diligent in observing and correcting the mistakes.

It sounds like these two pets are in a territorial competition.
I would try putting newspapers in the area that the dog is going in & then bring the newspaper outside & put in an area that you want the dog to use. Bring the dog out every half hour, to the place that you laid the paper. Stay near the dog & when it goes in the area of the papers, reward,& praise. After awhile the dog will get the connection between outside & doing it's business. Once the dog gets in the routine, you won't need to go out every half hour- increase to time that works for you.

There is a spray called NO. You can spray it and the animals don't like the scent and will stay away. The only problem is it stinks bad and humans can't stand it either.

Crate train. At night, put them in there crate. Also, when they to there business, hit them on the nose, put there nose up to it, and say bad girl/boy. then put them outside. That's what we did for the both of our dogs, and they don't do it anymore.

do you have a male dog, if you do he will continue to mark his territory. i found that if we keep him in the same room as us we can control it more. i also crate train. i suggest it very much. i also heard that you can put ammonia where they pee and it is suppossed to stop them from doing it again. i don't know if that works i haven't tried it.
