why is it that most people i bump into believe that "goths" are into drugs...or that they are satanists or wiccans??
goth is just a stupid middle school label...where people wear black or other colors such as red, neon pink, green purples.... anything but "preppie colors" (prepp-another stupid label)..
i went through that "goth phase" for 2 years untill the end of 10th grade..+no i wasn't a drug addict or a satanist.. (i didn't/don't even believe in satan)..the only reason i went through that phase is because i was laughed at in 6th and 7th grade.. so one day before "picture day" in 8th grade i said "tomorrow i'm wearing black"..i liked it, and it was considered "scary" at my school.. i had less friends but no one made fun of me anymore...and i got used to the fassion..
goth is just a fassion statement..wearing black doesn't make you a passemist, a drug addict or possessed by demons.. for pete's sake it's just a color! suppose you wore all white..would that make you a virgin?

First of all wearing all white would make you a bad @$$. Second of all goths are all emo, crybaby, feel bad for themselves, wiccans and nothing you could say would ever change that.

Well, some people where the colors they supposedly feel, inside. Like you wouldn't wear freakin' orange when you are about to commit suicide. It's just a lot of people are into the IMAGE of being a 'goth" or "prep" when the truth is, they need a place to belong. And yes, it is stupid to be "goth" all the time, I do believe there are some people who wear colors that reflect their emotions. But wearing all white would be weird.

Besides, if you dress a certain way and you give people the wrong impression (coz satanist and wiccans do dress that way....come on!) don't get upset or anything coz you brought the unwarranted attention on yourself

I'll bet you a majority of Goths do drugs. I also agree with the dude above me. Goth's def come across as EMO, crybaby, angry kids. YOU may not personally be, but that is the impression you give.
