It is free. I have hotmail and I have MSN as my home page. MSN messenger is also free. I'm sure there are upgrades that cost money, but why do that? Hotmail is free. They give you 1gb for your trial. I think it is for 30 days to even see if you will use your account. Then after that, they upgrade it to 2 gb. They even have what they call MSN windows live. That is what I use. Free.They have thier own little myspace area. And messenger. It is free. But I only use the hotmail. PEACE!

MSN what? E-mail (Hotmail) is free on one level. MSN Premium is free if you have Verizon Online DSL. If you want MSN Dial-Up, check their site for pricing information for your area.

tis free to download from http://www.messenger--uk.com/ it has had a name change when upgraded to version 8, its now called windows live still does the same thing tho
