My picks: First, Texas. Second, I think would be Colorado.

Texas: some of the friendliest people anywhere; huge, thriving cities (D/FW, Austin, San Antonio, Houston,) great job market, eclecticism in Austin, history in San Antonio and Ft. Worth, beaches, mountains, prairies, deserts, corn nuggets, Houston Astros, a great state! And the women...wow!

Georgia: still pretty girls, the ATL (don't want to live there, though.) Nice north GA mountains, true Southern hospitality in the south GA. Savannah is a beautiful city. Not a bad state!

Kentucky, while beautiful, is no hotbed of economic growth and progessive thinking. The politicians have helped to prohibit growth and development. People are, by and large, guarded and frankly hateful (especially Louisville); small towns are very sheltered and closed off to "the outside." I'm a native who has NEVER felt comfortable or at home there/

Well just a good ole Kentucky girl here, living in Texas for the last 20 years. For the most part I love the weather here. Houston is so humid you can barely breathe in the summer. I love Arlington because it is the heart of everything from Dallas to Ft. Worth. We have just about everything here. The cost of living is low compared to other places I have lived. I love it here and I hope you will too. You are right about one thing, Kentucky is a beautiful state.

Kentucky Rocks! It is known for the racing industry from Keeneland and Churchill Downs, it hosts Derby every year which brings well known people from all around the world, it is a beautiful state, it is the bourbon capitol of the world, most liquor is made from Kentucky, Kentucky sports are tighter than hell especially in some basketball and football we can whoop up on those Texans and that other gay state. But if you would quit hiding and come out of the closet and visit Kentucky then you would know how to remain silent and remember anything you say will come back to haunt you from Kentucky!!!!!!!
