Yes, the atrocities that occured on September 11, 2001 were horrific. My problem is that sicne then 9/11 seems to be the focal and startign point of the war on terror or terrorism in general. We have basically been attacked on yearly basis by Al Qeda prior to 9/11. When all of our emphasis is on 9/11 are forgetting those killed in the World Trade Center bombing, bombings at Embassies, the U.S.S. Cole etc? I am not trying to minimize the loss of life on 9/11 but we kinda of only hear about prior attacks in regards ot poeple we captured. Are we forgetting those who have been killed in these prior attrocities?

I believe the vast majority are already forgetting about 9/11 victims. Pathetic but that is todays society for you.

Yes they do forget and they are beginning to forget those that died on 9/11 also just listen to the news. No more war bring our boys home they are forgetting all that Al-Queda has done to us before 9/11 during 9/11 and after 9/11. They feel I guess ok we are tired come home rest relax and don't worry they are afraid of us now. They could not be further from the truth they are "Terrorist" and their expertise is in getting us to stop go home and cut and run that is what they do. When we do it will be back at our door again and all those that say cut and run get out of Iraq I feel should be the first to go fight them the next time. Let the real soldiers take a lesson from the cut and run experts next time.

People do forget those who lost their lives prior to 9/11 because the loss of life in the attacks prior wasn't near as great as it was on 9/11, which is sad that people forget. The loss of life was much greater on 9/11, which is why people remember that horrific event more than the others.

You are right, we had been attacked repeatedly by Al Qaeda. But it did not capture the imagination of the country until 9/11. Previous attacks were regarded as minor, no real threat to the country as a whole.
Now, after 5 years, 9/11 is starting to recede in many people's imaginations as well. They go about their normal activities, not much affected by it.
It is right to go about our normal lives, but it is unwise to forget these past attacks.

True, alot of people died during wars back then as well. I dont know why ,they made the 9/11 so much big deal with it, its like an alien come to united state. People died please let them rest in peace. Move on with life and get ready for the future you never know whats going to happen.

What exactly is your question? You seem to be rambling in many different directions. No one has forgotten those who were harmed on 9-11 or in other incidents, but life goes on and everyone has to move on.
