It's Projection. That way their own desires for causing mayhem and destruction on a massive scale are justified because liberals are 'persecuting' them.

Question one
When Reds Staters go to their strategy training cell meetings they are instructed that accusing liberals of whining catches them off guard. Liberals are the diametric opposite of whiners so the accusation has a shock affect.
Question two
Money to PBS. PBS is the Government owned voice of America. competing commercial networks traditionally defame PBS as a part of their competitive banter. Remember George Bush appointed the head of PBS. Maybe if you listened to it instead of to the accusations about it you would find out for yourself. Last time I checked there were no Commies on the Nature program, start with than then try the Saturday night classic movie.

it extremely is not political grievance; it extremely is merely call-calling. when I hear talk like that I ask human beings what injury will come from which rules. oftentimes, people who're politically conscious can get all the way down to the concrete subject concerns (pulling out of Iraq would be undesirable because of the fact .... or what have you ever.) people who won't be able to articulate why "socialist" medical care is undesirable have not completed adequate thinking to be depended on. Making (or combating) actual exchange in society demands a lot greater effective than merely knee-jerk reactions to labels like "capitalist" or "liberal".

Because they don't like to use facts.
So they whine, change the subject, or use strawman arguments.
The average repub is a good person. Their leaders are generally evil people intent on lining their pockets.
Somehow they become brainwashed into believing crazy things like Bush is good, black is white, poverty is good for people, people enjoy being poor that's why they aren't rich.

Because whining is what OTHER people do.
What they are doing is speaking "truth to power" and pointing out injustice and oppression.
You know, the kind of oppression that the rich, privileged and powerful have to slog through every day of their tortured existences.

I'm a liberal...but it sure isn't much of an argument for us to tell the conservatives that they're "just as bad" as we are. Surely we're better than that?

I think whining happens with all political sectors of society.
It's called freedom of speech.
