Why is it that when I get excited about something or jump or anything like that I wake up?

You are in a lighter phase of sleep. Most dreams that are remembered are when you are awakening . For most people when they are deep in sleep and dreaming the body disengages the impulses to the nervous system that move the muscles.
For this reason sleep walking and acting out in a dream are unusual.

It's due to your own "inner refusal" to be happy.
You see, deep down inside, most of us feel as though we don't deserve to be happy, even though we're always saying otherwise.
