I do agree that the UK seems a bit too complacent on terrorism, but I think it's a GOOD idea that they want to leave Iraq. Iraq is a poor country; it's no threat to the world and we can't force democracy on people if they don't want it.

The reason most British and also many intelligent Americans want to leave Iraq is that it was an illegal war which is not possible to win, Bush himself has stated that they cannot win it. British people are certainly no stupider than Americans and Tony Blair will thankfully not be our leader for much longer. The world has become a much more dangerous place because of Bush and Blair and their presence has only served to inflame the situation in Iraq. Also if you support Bush you are by far the minority in your country.

I am thankful to Blair for doing the right thing. even though the job turned out to be harder than it looked.
The people of Iraq do want democracy.
It is Saddam's old party ("the insurgency") that doesn't want democracy. There are also foreign extremists fighting in Iraq trying to prevent a democratic government in the Middle East, because they think this is a loss to Islam. If either of these groups gains power in Iraq, Al Qaeda will be focused on the West again.

Of course getting into Iraq to start with made the world a more dangerous place, but who is counting.
Oh, BTW, that WAS their subway that was bombed you know old chap. I hardly think the Brits are ignoring terrorism. Nor the Spanish for that matter.

Brits shouldn't have invaded Iraq, or any other country, in the first place. Now the best thing Britain can do is withdraw its troops from Iraq. If Britain wants to look strong, the best thing for it to do is ether install Prince William as its king, or Prince Harry. I think people respect these two princes, and thank God for that.

You have to read more as to have a better perspective as the one your leaders want you to believe
Remember, this is a war of information
What happened in Spain? They told Spaniards that if they supported the left wing, AL QAUEDA would continue bombing, this DID NOT HAPPENED, ans Aznar the past president was defeated, he lied, as Bush, as Blair.
The Spaniards were brave en enough to find out the government of the right wing was lying and they voted more socialist, Zapatero.
They haven't got any terrorism since then.
The terrorists just want their country back!
I don't think its good to ask that way, is horrible, but what do you expect?
