I'm certainly not for cheating, but that's going way too far with the law. What's next?.......?........?
EDIT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
BK seems to be the one that needs to read more carefully.........the appeals court ruled that they CAN be prosecuted for it. It does not matter what the others said, if a judge chooses to follow that (though doubtful any would), he COULD,

Read more carefully.
All the legal people consulted said no one would ever go to jail for it. It was used to make another sex-for-pills crime a felony.
"No one expects prosecutors to declare open season on cheating spouses", "no one has been convicted of that offense since 1971", and "anybody who thinks otherwise is hallucinogenic" are among the quotes from the article.
By the way, it's called being a "philanderer."
What should be a felony is jumping to conclusions and using words you can't spell but don't bother to look up.

that's actually pretty good. life in jail sounds too extreme but being punished by having to serve time is reasonable and should teach married people a lesson on morals and respect. There's a lifetime movie where a woman in North Carolina sued the home wrecker. The mistress was so embarassed and had to pay a lot of money to the wife. I think she deserved the embarassment and hopefully learn from that.

Cheating is bad, but the Government getting involved is even worst.
A life sentence is a death sentence for many people, to share a room with bank robbers, murderers, rapist (some of them with HIV), drug dealers, gun runners, gang members, and so on.
In Africa and Asia, women are killed (stoned, shot, burned alive or hanged) for cheating even if it is a lie or a "maybe she was cheating". Men only get a beating and "go home".
To make criminal a social behavior is just far extremist. At most, cheating is just a breach of contract, and should go to civil courts. You cheat, you pay.
What is next: Death penalty for not going to church?

ALRIGHTA! I think that should be within every state law. If you're going to cheat on your partner, don't get into a relationship.
Review your wedding vows. There is no excuse for a person to cheat on their spouse. It's immoral, unforgiving and low class status.

Imposing morals can be damn scary. Too bad such behavior has to be dictated. Sounds like something people should have been doing anyway.... Maybe the state got tired of paying for the players....

I heard about that but I didn't know it was just for Michigan. No one has been sent to jail for this as of yet.
