I'd like to use wax for shaping my eyebrows but heard once it might make your skind 'floppy/droopy/SAGGY!'

IS THIS TRUE?? What should I choose to use, or should I just stick to tweezers ( and the effort involved. )

No I have never heard of that. I always wax my eyebrows. Its a lot neater than plucking and it gets the pain over in one easy sweep.

if you are fed up with the tweezers and the time it takes.........

i would say try the wax. if you think about your already pulling the skin weather you use wax or TWEEZERS.

ive used tweezers for the past (what??)10 years and ive waxed on and and off throughout those 10 years.....

i am not sagging or drooping.......

i like waxing better but if you shave on and off......your hair growth pattern will not be equal and you will find that you have to use the tweezers regardless ---- so the best thing to do in my opinion is let your hair grow out for a day or two then use the wax...that way you will have hair to wax that is pretty much all the same length

and the only side effect i can think of are a little redness where you waxed.........if its a good wax it should only be red for a few hours

good luck and i hope you find the answer you were looking for!!

I have also been waxing my brows for many years and my skin is not sagging or drooping. What I would suggest is that for the first time you wax, you get it done professionally so that you get a good basic shape. Then you can tweeze in between your waxes.
Before you wax at the salon,or home, make sure that you don't have any allergies to any of the ingredients in the wax. My friend is allergic to papaya and her whole face swelled up like a balloon because the wax had papaya oil in it! Good luck to you!

I have never heard it makes you "sloppy or droopy" from waxing. My great Aunt is a professional Waxer and she has been waxing herself since age 13, she is now reaching 55 (or higher) and her eyebrows look marvelous.. they are up-high and very nice.
As far as waxing advice goes, same thing for a facial.. never get it done the day of a big event!! It will be red and puffy.. But swelling goes down in 24 hours, and moisturize well.. and get a good waxer who wont burn you.

The girls I know who wax their eyebrows all seem to get 5 o'clock shadow. It's very unattractive and they have to wait until the hair is long enough to wax again. Stick to the tweezers.

Ingrown hairs, redness and inflammation are the common side effects of waxing... but once you get used to it... it's fine...

I'd stick with the waxing... hair growth decreases after a while with waxing...

All I know Honey is that when I wax my skis I fall on my butt quicker, I don't expect that helps you though.
