32:1 is the proper mix for all 2 strokes

a 98 800 should be oil injected unless highly modified in that case go 32:1 watch your exhaust and do some plug burns as far as the fuel injected part of i never heard of a fuel injected 800 in 1998

it should have a oil reservoir...if your not usen it then the more the better 50;1 or 1 quart or litter to about 8-10 gal of gas

look in the owners manual it should have it there. if no owners man. go on line and get a print out of the man. and it will tell you what kind of oil to use.

you don't mix it. the injector does it.
