After 9/11, the war, and beheadings certain muslims are protesting a TV show. A TV SHOW! One of the people in this article states she is afraid to go to the store because she doesn't think people(Americans) can differentiate between fact and fiction. I don't know about others, but I certainly can differentiate between fact and fiction, and I find it insulting this person would state such a thing. Muslims did what they did, they have people that are still hating on "westerners", and yet they find it wrong for a Tv show to portray very possible future happenings?
Do you watch Muslims more closely because of 24, or because of past and current events?

Isn't it interesting muslims will protest a fictional program, yet they don't protest the heinous acts by their brethren? Video taped beheadings and numerous murders in Somalia, Ethiopia, etc. and not any protest by muslims.
I don't watch 24 so I don't know alot about the program. I am suspicious of muslims due to their factual actions not the actions on some TV show.

Muslims need to examine why they are always portrayed as terrorist on TV and in Movies. Maybe it's because almost all of the terrorist acts in the world today are done by people of Muslim faith. Most Muslims are good people but if they want the world to get on their side, they have to attack the cancer in their faith and condemn all the killings in the name of religion. Many of the extremists are brain-washed by their religious leaders. Cut off the snakes head and the body will die.

Anyone who is simple enough to espouse stereotyping in response to a tv show surely has already formed their opinions based on world events. It's a silly argument they're making. Maybe they should write to the Muslim terrorist groups and tell THEM to stop reinforcing stereotypes so that Muslims can feel safer walking down the streets. It's the terrorists that endanger their public safety, not television.

i ride a bus home a long distance and sometimes this lady gets on with this muslim head wrap thing and it gets me worried for a little while.. but i know that shes a nice lady and not all muslims are crazy like those other guys.. but still you think of it. note: i never did untill after 9/11 and i lost a few friends in there. p.s. i don't look at 24 because of all that stuff.

i heard about that and i cant believe it ITS JUST A SHOW! A GOOD SHOW that i love to watch. people need to calm down. i also heard that some muslim groups are speaking out agianst 24 becuae it portays muslims as terrorists. but they are(NO NOT ALLmuslims BUT THE EXTREMISTS) they are the only real likely threat to americans. and if they speak out against the show so much why dont they speak out against the real musli extremists who are making muslims look ver bad

Personally, I would NEVER trust a Muslim! Those men who did 7/11 were trusted in the community and had western friends.
This proves you never know if they are genuine or just taking you for a friendly ride before they blow up one of your family, or theirs!!

i became obssessed with 24, and whenever i watch it i become aware of every single little thing. not only muslims, but everything! i actually look for things that look suspicous. so to answer your question, yes i watch Muslims (AND EVERYONE ELSE - I'M NOT RACIST) more closely because of 24
