I love writing. It's been a part of my life for several decades. I couldn't imagine myself not writing. I am working on a novel right now.

I love it to the point that I am studying to become an English and Composition teacher at the high school level. It's sad, though, that people going into college do not have the skills required to be an effective writer or critical thinker.

Writing is my passion and in some cases my therapy and a never-ending source of happiness. Writing and reading (just as important if someone wants to write) are my equivalent of TV.

Absolutely, it's hard to imagine my life without it. Writing is so important because you can just release all your emotions and thoughts in a healthy and creative way. It's amazing what writing is capable of doing, it can cause wars (like the Civil War, "Uncle Tom's Cabin") it can cause controversey, it can help people overcome depression, give you a better immune system and so much more!

I love writing because I can put emotion to paper and I get some of the best things that I've ever written. It makes me feel accomplished. Writing is so much fun because you can write about anything or any scenario. Put yourself anywhere, any decade, fall in love, invent characters, etc.
The only thing bad about writing?
Writer's cramp and block.

I love it ! Expressing my thoughts in this way is a kind of therapy for the mind.
I can write on and on making alive again all that happened to me previously. You may call it selfish, but I rely on other topics too.
I am the one still writing birthday or Xmas cards.
It is a good way to check your grammar and spelling too.
By the way, I am French !

I did.

Then I went to college and majored in journalism, minored in English and I burned out.

It's frustrating because it is my talent...the one thing (the only thing) I do really well. My mind works like a jouralist's, even. But I can't even as much as look at a newspaper now.

Anyway, that was more answer than you wanted....sorry.

Yuppers!!!! I loooooooooooove to write!!! However, sometimes I get a little Writer's Block. I still LOVE to write, though. I have some books that have been published, too. But, I won't tell you what they're called or written by whom, it would give A LOT away......

Most definitely. In fact, I'm much more adept at expressing myself via the written word than I am with the spoken one.
