I've had nothing but problems with my advent and wouldn't recommend them to anyone

You might, just might, be able to recover your data off the hard drive. As to why it isn't turning on, you might've knocked something loose, or cracked the motherboard. But in any case, it seems you've made a brick of your laptop.

no it was one i looked at when deciding my future labtop, but the reveiws I found on it weren't all that good
