the obvious would be to buy them a gift, or the like, but most people would know you're trying to kiss a*s, I would say try to work extra hard, come into work a bit earlier, leave later, and go above and beyond your job description. Be interested in what you do, and do it 120%.

Bake something for them and bring it in, bring them coffee or tea , their preference, always do just a little more than asked to, always make sure they know "what a good job you're doing" with out actually saying it to them, Go in early and offer to stay late.

people know when your sucking up, the best thing you can do is do your work great and make sure the boss knows it was your work. thats all they care about anyway is wheather the job is getting done. don't try and suck up.
