My dad keeps saying no..idk why..i think that he thinks tht i wont take care of it....but i already told him i would take care of it everyday and every night!!! I think that once i take my dad to the pet store, he will fall in love wih dwarf hamsters....will this work? (also dont forget to give me other ideas, 2 if u dont think this 1 will work)

I already did a presentation about hamsters last night, i printed out the dos and donts, the food i need for them, supply lists, etc. Also i have written a 500 word essay on why letting me get a hamster would make me more responsible...then he just sed to me, "The anwser is still no" sooooo.......how do i change his mind?!?!!?

Also my mom said that it's ok with her as long as its ok with my dad so my dad is the only one in my way of getting a hamster

My dad said tht i could save all the money i wanted but i still wasant getting a hamster...he sed tht cost isnt an issue he just dont want a hamster....any tips to persuay him to say i can get 1?

tell him that you will take care of it, and buy a cage thats easy to clean most are pretty easy the one i have you just pop off the bottom and dump it in the trash

Start asking for a horse or another sort of animal and then go back to the hamster idea.
My daughter had a hamster and then got gerbils and tbh I preferred the gerbils the hamster made too much noise of a night. Definitely get him to take you to a large pet store.
He will probably let you have one eventually he just needs more persuasion.
Can you not save and buy it yourself. Show how prepared you are to be responsible.
