I watched 'Beauty Shop' last night and it was a lot better than I thought it would be.

Cool. I saw that at the video store yesterday. Will have to go out and get it. I rented Diary of a Mad Black Woman but have not watched it yet. I liked Superman Returns. It was really good.

MOVIES LIKE SHUTTER ISLAND *Shining (1973) - Slow but gets very intense has a good plot twist! A Classic! *The Thing (1982) - A must see but a little gory at times move of a Horror movie. *Memento (2000) - Not bloody at all but makes you very confused till the end. TWIST ENDING! *Se7en (1995) - A murder movie that is quite disturbing. Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman are fantastic! *Session 9 (2001) - Tensions rise within an asbestos cleaning crew as they work in an abandoned mental hospital with a horrific past that seems to be coming back. *The Machinist (2004) - Christian Bale haven't slept in a year as he starts to die and see things that aren't there. Also this movie gets disturbing. JAPANESE HORROR *Ju-on (2002) - AKA The original Grudge. Much better than American version, and not too bloody. *Ringu (1998) - AKA The Ring, but again MUCH scarier and tense! *Kairo (2001) - AKA Pulse *Jisatsu Sākuru (2001) - AKA The Suicide Club *Gin Gwai (2002) - AKA The Eye HOPE I HELPED :)

The Russian film - Nightwatch. It was much better than critics had led me to believe. On the other end of the spectrum, my biggest disappointment in a film was Brokeback Mountain. Was that storyline ever slow and ponderous. Perhaps if it had been cut about 45 minutes, it would have been better, but then that's Ang Lee's problem almost all the time. Critics loved it so much that I was EXTREMELY disappointed.

I honestly never watched Billy Madison until a couple of days ago. It's about 12 yrs old, and at the time it was popular i wasn't interested in it. When i saw it, i thought it was pretty hilarious!!!
