also, is there a japanese psp that has an english menu?i'm planning to buy at play asia.all the psps can play all psp games right?(i'm from america)

i'm planning to buy at amazon.co.uk or amazon.co.jp i was also wondering if both not region protected(to play games) or should i buy from play asia which really says no region protection?

ya i think the games will work. im pretty sure my friend had a japanese game and it worked on his. and my other friend bought a white one from china and it worked here. i dont think there is a japanese one that has english menu, but u can ask the people where u can find a japanese one in english. just get the u.k. version itll b in english.

If you can speak Japanese and like to play your games in a foreign language then be my guest.... but i rather you get one in UK.... http://psp-vault.com you can download games and pictures, and of course videos... all for free with no monthly fees enjoy and i hope you have fun with your new PSP playstation portable!!!... :)
