Acer is your authentic budget end variety - it extremely is low-priced. I truthfully have had solid studies with Acer video reveal instruments yet undesirable studies with Acer laptops - they have an inclination to interrupt fairly somewhat. No authentic studies with computers. I artwork for an IT reseller and we constantly advise HP because it extremely is the superb high quality and the superb provider. yet I delight in that it is not the main inexpensive! 256Mb is not any the place close to sufficient - i could decide for 512mb minimum and have a look into for 1GB as you assert. additionally, CD burner is probably no longer solid sufficient because it basically holds six hundred(ish)MB. A DVD burner isn't high priced and is greater effective for music and photos in backup words.

It’s not necessarily because it’s a Acer. I seen Dell’s slow as crap (like they are)
It depends on the CPU speed & amount or RAM installed.

I have had customers thinking 2GB of RAM will speed up a 300MHz CPU. That’s not going to happen.

it's not the brand of laptop, it's the hardware/software/spyware/virus you have or don't have whichever the case may be.
