India is in a very poor form right now. Rahul Dravid and Coach Greg Chappell have taken Indian cricket to a poor level, that will take a long time to rebuild. The senior players also not performing well and not even playing their basic skills shocks the die hard Indian Cricket fans. India's over confidence and self praise have shaken their platform of cricket. Their only chance in world Cup 2007 is to advance to the second round(if they beat Bangladesh) and enjoy the Caribbean beaches and head home.........like how they enjoyed sight seeing in South Africa. Somebody should give out the SOS call to the Indian board of Cricket and start working towards rebuilding process.Bringing in Ganguly and sending off Shewag is not going to make any difference. Let's see if ...if India could bounce back from their poor shape tonight against West Indies.

Cricket is all about bowling my indian friend. You see in order to win and or put a strong pressure on the batsmen you must have a strong bowling line up. Perhaps two or three bowlers who are at the hieght of thier form. You can say oh one bowler who is a swing bowler then the other is a pace bowler, and you can have others who do nice incutters and pacey bouncers. If you have these varities you are bound to win what ever game you face. Thats is why pakistan won the world cup in 1992 because they had brillaint bowlers such as wasim and imran who later became legends of cricket. India needs good bowling at this point they have a very strong bowling line up but india has failed to ever put a good bowler in the last 10 years. If india dosen't come up with good bowlers such as irfan phatan and not nehra and agarkar these bowlers are not very good they dont show the will and power nor the determination to take wickets. As you can see when shoaib akhter comes to bowl many batsmen wear dippers because they often wet themselves. So there you have it india will win if they have a strong bowling line up!

u kno as an indian i want to say yes but the rational part of me says not a chance!! u c cricket is a team game. india unfortunately has star players but but as a team it lacks in all the deparments. inner politics and need to jus fill pockets have blinded them all to believe that once they hav made to the national team their job is done.. playing for the country is no more their priority. secondly we do not have the same physical training or atheleticness which is seen in the aussies and south africans. our fielding is poor. and on top of every thing v do not have pitches of international std. we flatter and pat our backs even if v win a single game but the truth is v do not have any consistency. we might and i say might win the next world cup if v change certain things but as things stand now v hav 10 to 1 chance of winning..

Only if there is team spirit, they will win. Or else just for individual records if they play, it will be very hard for them to win.
Also they should look fresh practice well and rest well. If they indulge in lust and luxury there , they cannot win.
