There are very very few true albino deer. Most are a white phase coloration. They may still have pinkish eyes, but they can genetically pass on the white color, and can produce piebald (white and normal brown, I have even seen white and gray) in a pinto coloration. A true albino could not grow brown antlers (they would be pink) and could not pass on the color as well as mix colors.
I have seen pictures (taken by a well known nature photographer) of albino moose. There was a pair of them (male female)- pinky/white antlers and all just walking through the woods.

Hi Lizard, I actually have a friend whose family raises deer and they have several albino deer. If you'd like to know more about them, try: http://www.kerrlake.com/deer/albino.html and http://www.senecawhitedeer.org/history/deer.htm and for pictures try http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?ei=UTF-8&fr=slv8-symcd&p=albino%20deer&fr2=tab-web

I don't see why there wouldn't be able to be one. Then again, I'm no geneticist. That pic above was the first time I saw one. So cute!

Snopes is a GREAT web site that you can reference every time your friends send you one of those ridiculous emails with a crap story. It is basicly an urban myth de-bunker....this was on the snopes web site:
