Are the micro managing and political rift between the dems and repubs creating athe chaos we see now...shouldn't the generals in the feild be the ones to have the final say of what's needed.

If you really get down to it the American public is killing our troops and now they don't support them. When we hat 9-11 everyone here was saying go get them. We did now it is not immediate gratification like we want now the American people do not have the stomach for it. We live in a immediate gratification lifestyle this is not a microwave solution. It will take time and we need to stay and get it done. In effect we killed our troops.

Sure the politicians are getting our troops killed. It's all about the money.How many politician have sons or daughters fighting over there? How about the rich? They keep their kids in school.Both of these types of people couldn't care less about the average person in this country.The middle and lower class people have always been the ones to pay for what the rich and influential want. There is no money in stopping a war.

Politicians have had a role in troop deaths since the JFK administration in the early part of the Vietnam war. Politics, lobyists, and special interest groups have had a lot of serious consequences in wars.
There are a lot of things going on that we are not aware of and may never get released to public for years into the future.
