A more appropriate way to say it would be "I REALLY do not want to go".
"Friends" is designed to appeal to a mass audience and most of that audience is not well-educated.
I have another one for you.
"You've got mail."
Although many consider that phrase (... have got ...) to be grammatically correct, a better way to express that sentence is "You have mail".
"Have got" is redundent.
Always assume that when there is mass-marketing involved, there is a better way to express oneself.

well, really, what does the word so mean?
i went to the store so i would have food to eat (inorder)
i could not find my green pants, so i wore the blue ones (who knows meaning?,,, instead?)
the computer wasnt working so my friend rebooted it,,,, (action? instead of then? )
so is used as an adverb, to give emphasis, just like totally,,,, really etc
