That wetness is lubrication. That amount of lube will vary throughout a woman's cycle, and throughout her life. It also varies from one woman to the next. This is why you and your partner should always use an artificial lube (any drug store will carry then) for intercourse and all forms of genital stimulation. Also, female lubrication alone does not indicate that a woman is sufficiently aroused for intercourse.
