The people implementing the plan are usually the cause of failures. Some people make plans that are not realistic and spend lots of time and money finding that out. In the end the success or failure will be directly related to the people implementing the system.

Projects fail for a number of reasons.

1. Poor Scope
2. Definition of requirements not good enough
3. Poor project control
4. Wrong staff
5. Wrong information being analysed

Of course there are more reasons than this short list, but it should give you an idea

Good Luck!

There are as many ways to foul up a computer as there are computer users.

The most common failures are caused by people who do not have sufficient training and/or experience to tackle the tasks they want to accomplish.

Other common causes of failures include:
1. experimenting with untested products
2. experimenting with free products
3. trying to cut corners on hardware or software implementation
4. unrealistic or poorly defined goals
