You genetics determine your height potential. There are many things that can prevent you from reaching this potential but there is nothing healthy that can increase this potential. Eat a good diet and get a healthy amount of exercise and you will reach your height potential. Swimming is good for you, as long as you don't drown.

how tall you are depends on your genetics. Swimming does depend on your length. Like you try to make your body as long as possible for streamlines and stuff but that is just when you are stretched out it doesn't really make you taller. but sometimes when a person is heavy set and they start working out the fat can sometimes go into getting taller. Swimming is very good excercise. I have been swimming for 8 1/2 years and i have never gotten out of shape. it will keep you very leen but won't make you get taller. that all depends on your body make-up.

Not exactly, when i started swimming on the swim team I grew a bit taller and leaner but that's only because you use your WHOLE body while swimming. It stretches out your body a little bit, and its great exercise.

Inasmuch as swimming and other forms of exercise improve the strength and flexibility of your spine, there may be a slight improvement in height, but hardly enough to measure.

No, swimming doesn't make you grow taler, it makes you grow broader by the shoulder , esp breast stroke and butterfly. Try basketball or sprts involing jumping if u wanna grow taller.
