Plums are great but if you are tired they can accentuate any redness, the more modern soft greens are good with a more dramatic green on the outside corner (just a lil bit) you can get dark green eyeliner pencil that if you use on the inner upper lid, really shows the hazel off and most people can tell your even wearing eyeliner. Very very pale pink has worked for me too. You can buy the midnight blue/black eyeshadows (must be a good quality ie Channel) and use very lightly on the inner side of the eyelid, so it only looks light grey/blue and gradually apply a bit heavier towards the outside so it looks more purple/grey, then wet the applicator and carefully use as an eyeliner along the top of lashes (looks more purple/blue-black), you can also line the lower lid like this for 3/4 of it - going from the outer to inner, in direction. This is a good look for going out at night or with blonde hair as its dramatic but really looks good on hazel eyes, especially if you have larger/round/almond shaped eyes.

Brown eyed people can wear a variety of colors. If you wear a pale blue eyeshadow, not too much of course because this is not the 80's, you could wear a blue or peacock blue to bring out your eyes. You could also try purples, pinks and greens. My absolute favorite is golden tones though. It helps to bring sparkle to your eyes and appear to give them a honey color.

The worst thing would be to put brown on brown--brown eyes are beautiful and should be complimented with colors, not over-shadowed. Use greens and pinks, but be sure to stay away from black or brown. you're going to end up looking goth and sulky that way.

use black eye liner, brown eyeshadow(or any other dark colors),and mascara that will give your lashes length.
thats what i do cuz i have hazel eyes, dirty blonde hair, and medium tan skin.
it will look cute on anyone with those same characteristics.

Hello, golds and browns make brown eyes pop, if you want a different coloured liner try using a maroon colour, its close the the brown shades but gives you that extra something

You should use pinks and light browns. Go to the drug store (CVS, Walgreens...) and get this eyeshadow set that Almay makes. Its called "play up your eye color" and they have it for brown, green, blue, and hazel eyes.

i have a similar contrast and i use golds, browns and purples they really make your eyes stand out! and for a different liner use a purple or maroon color they are really nice. but if you are still not satisfied go to a make up stool in Macy's/selfridges and go to mac or Chanel and ask them to do your make up and you will get some more ideas of what suits you!
good luck!
