Can you give me a brief summary of last season and tell me when the new season starts. I think i've seen all the episodes but only bits and pieces. My stupid brodband(acts like dialup) won't let me watch them online( http://www.nbc.com )

The first season isn't over yet. The season continues January 22nd. You can watch episodes on peekvid.com. You can also read the online graphic novels on nbc.com and that will tell you what is going on and you get some info that doesn't appear on the show.
It starts out by different people realizing that they have powers and what the powers are. Hiro can travel through time and he finds out that there will be a huge explosion in New York. He and his friend go to America and cross paths with different "heroes". Each one has their story. The bad guy is Sylar. He has the ability to steal powers and use them as his own by killing and taking the brain (not sure exactly how this works). Sylar has been captured by Claire's (the cheerleader) dad. He has been studying the "heroes". There's really alot going on because there are so many charecters. I hope you get to watch all the episodes. It's a great show.
