I had 1 friend I knew continuously as I grew up moving around with my family in the world of the RAF, we lost track when we were 18. I tried contacting newspapers, looking up names in yellow pages. Then tried friendsreunited - posting a message on a board. First time I heard nothing, 2 years later I tried again, this time turned out to be succesful, We are now in regular contact with each other after 34 years, though we have yet to meet up, think that's going to be next year. So dont give up.
