I would be getting it as a jammer, is there a brand which is best?

The Speedo FSII is the fastest competition suit out there. A LOT of research went into looking at areas of most drag and friction and how to reduce it using certain materials. The Speedo AquaLab (link below) will show you how they did this. But the FSII is definately better than an aquablade. Also, if you swim sprint free, I recommend a legskin; if you swim breaststroke, you should probably go with the good ol' fashioned speedo so your legs aren't as constricted by the suit. Anything else, go with the jammer or the kneeskin!

Yes, some fast skins are better than others. I like the Speedo Aquablade the best.

yeah I would get a speedo. A kid on my swim team who is 18 and missed the state record by .06 seconds wears this suit when he races
