Wrath is the seventh deadly sin. Anger is not one of the seven deadly sins. Anger is an emotion. Wrath is kind of between anger and hate that is acted upon.

According to medieval monks, these seven are meant to encompass all others. These are the temptations that make people kill, cheat, steal, lie, and do other bad things and that stop them from doing good things.

People are ignorant. They have forgotten that pride means thinking you are better than others.

Almost all seven have been accepted, even encouraged, in our modern culture.

The 7 pretty well encapsulate every vice known to the human race. Unthankfulness would fall under the 1st deadly sin : Pride
