We are already in it. There may be interludes of peace, but we will not see lasting peace for generations. We are in a war between the radical elements of various religions that have no tolerance for groups that do not believe in the same things or gods that they believe in.
The last great world war actually lasted nearly 75 years with a few interludes of peace. The war was over Germany imperialism that began in the later 1800s continued into what is commonly referred to as World War I. There was a brief interlude of peace until the hostilities began anew in the 1930s. The war sparked by German imperialism did not end until 1945.
We are at the beginning stages of another great world war. It has its roots in the creation of Israel which lead to extreme Islamic groups. These groups are at war against everything that is not their version of Islam. In short, the answer to your questions is yes there will be another world war, and we are in it. Currently, it is not remincent of WWII, but there are hostilities that will continue for years.
We are witnessing a nuclear race in the middle east because of the impotent UN. Yesterday Jordan announced that it was interested in becoming a nuclear state. Egypt has experessed interest in becoming a nuclear power.
Wait and see what happens with Israel or the US nukes Iran's nuclear facilities.

The 3rd world war has already been fought & won. It was called the Cold War & President Ronald Wilson Reagan was responsible for the defeat of the Soviet Union. WW4 is coming & it will be between the free world & these satanic islamic Arab dogs.

Yes an all out confrontation is in the making for America and unfortunately there is little if anything at all that we can do to avoid it - other than move to a country that would have a tendency to be more secure - like New Zealand or Ice Land, or possible Costa Rica , etc.- who has no particular enemies like what the United States has.

Honestly, I can't say for sure.
But I can tell you that if either Iran or North Korea launched a nuclear strike anywhere in the world, the US would be all over annihilating them with our OWN nukes.
I think that if we could know for sure that Iran was making nuclear material purely for energy reasons, we would have nothing to worry about with them, but President Ahmadinejad's comments since he became president have a lot of people on edge, particularly Israel.
As for North Korea, Kim Jong Il is just never to be trusted, in my opinion.

The military knocked over an Iranian embassy in the north of Iraq last week and is holding 5 Iranians. Bush is stating the US will back Israel unquestioningly, and Israel's been threatening a nuke attack on Tehran. Russia and China have massive investments in the oil infrastructure in Iran.
I think Bush wants a war with Iran, and it's going to blow up in his face like nothing before. Who knows if it'll go global, I just hope it doesn't get nuclear or bio/chem..

IT'S ALREADY STARTED. THE ISLAMOFACSISTS DECLARED WAR ON THE U.S. ON 9/11. THEY FIGURED THE U.S. WOULDN'T STRIKE BACK, BUT WE DID. THIS IS MORE OF A WAR OF FREEDOM THAN THE COLD WAR. IF PEOPLE FEEL THAT OUR SUPPORT OF ISRAEL IS THE PROBLEM THEY ARE WRONG. THE RADICAL MUSLIMS ARE BASICALLY OPPOSED TO OUR WAY OF LIFE & THE FREDOMS WE ENJOY. THEY FEEL ALL WOMEN SHOULD BE WEARING BURQUAS & DON'T LIKE THE WAY WOMEN IN THE CIVILIZED WORLD DRESS & CONDUCT THEMSELVES.

it is, and its not going to be a war of countries, its going to be a war of religion. might even end the world. we have communists with nuclear power, we have muslims willing to kill themselves to kill us. then we have the (in my point of view) - the good guys. the christian and jewish. we dont take harsh action, but somethings going to happen, probably concerning Iran, and the world will be thrown into turmoil.
