Dear All,

As you are all aware that this country is on the verge of INDICIPLINE. Whole Country Politics is based on RELIGIOUS & CASTE BACKGROUND.
Whole System is being inducted with CORRUPTION & CAPITALISM & CRIMINAL POWER PLAY.
Now Time has come for DIVISION OF THIS COUNTRY INTO SMALLER & SMALLER STATES Based on Regional,Religious & Caste Basis which we are already noticing.
Our country is having even AIRPORT TERMINALS,EDUCATIONAL UNIVERSITIES & WHAT NOT ON RELIGIOUS GROUNDS ( Eg. HAJ TERMINAL, ALIGARH MUSLIM UNIVERSITY,PERSONAL LAW, What not ).
My Simple Question is that WHETHER THIS COUNTRY CAN REMAIN UNITED WITH ALL THESE BAD PRACTICES WHICH ARE INDUCTED BY OUR GREAT SO CALLED LEADERS FOR HOW MUCH LONG WITH THIS SYSTEM DEFECTS ?
IF NOT WHO IS GOING TO SAVE THIS COUNTRY ?

With regards.

B. NARSING RAJ

What country are you speaking of? Sounds to me like you are describing India. The US doesn't have a cast system and never did. But *any* country that separates itself into little enclaves of "diverse" groups and isn't united under one national identity is destined to fail. To rot from within, to dissolve into multiple factions from back-biting and infighting.

No friend the constitution of India is not based on Religion and Caste. It has offerred freedom to each religion ad caste with all due respects to carry theri traditions. Our constitution hasn't imposed anything that can hurt the sentiments of a person who is more concerned about religion and caste.

The division of the our states into smaller states is not based on religion but management. Imagine yourself managing a staff of 200 guys and imagine 4 guys doing the same. It's just dividing a large group into smaller cometitive teams.

And about the faicilites that the constitution has provided. It's because it wants to pay for the kind of suffering that particular community has undergone in the history.

I know it's about time for the constitution to change such laws. But it's about time for us to change to. If you get a benefit to a reserved quota due to your caste or religion, will you be humble enough to back of the benefit because you think you can handle it the common way out....

Come on... it's we people of India who need to undergo a quick metomorphosis and think of whole India as a family.

And last about the bribing part.... A politician doesnot bribe a politician. It's we, the people of India, who fall for this bribing stuff. Any government employee is finally an Indian. Anybody going to that particular employee is finally an India. Will you not offer a bribe to get your job done quicker. Will you not lure the other person to break some rules, skip some stages and get our job done....

The problem is with us here. We know the negatives of the constitution and the positives of ourselves... Think the other way round... Didi you ever wonder about positive sides of constitution and negative side of yourself... All we want is a change in the system that could benefit us. That's mean... When you mean that the leaders are buthchering the country, tell me what are the followers doing? And if your answer is that followers are helpless they have no choice then, I suggest, better keep mum and bear whatever is induced upon you.... Yup!!! That's the rule. When you can't fight back, just reconcile. To fight back you need strength. Not from the people around you but from within you.

We know our rights. We should know our duties too....

Few months ago one of the lawyers had a law changed which was written during the british regime that stated that when a skih is on a deathbed while giving a statement, it cannot be considered as truth as sikhs can lie at that time too. The lawyer made a thorough study, challenged the court and won the judgement. He/She had an issue to highlight, the courage to do so, and succeeded.

If each one of could take up the task of changing atleast one system in the country, don't you think we are gonna make a better nation.

I've already taken up a task.... It's your turn buddy...

And for all indians out here... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

:-)

Indians from the very beginning have been described as fatalists due to the vagaries of nature which deals them severe blows when least expected. This has converted them into Great Opportunists over thousands of years since the existence of the present civilisation. The caste-system according to the beliefs of many gave enormous powers to those in the higher rungs as compared to those below. Similar with the various invasions, especially the Muslim/English conquerors who not only enjoyed the fruits of their victories but also converted vast tracts of the land to their beliefs by use of force or inducements. It became the perception that the people aligning with these forces(caste/religion) enjoyed immense power and wealth.
Once independence was gained and our country became a democratic Republic, the supposedly have-nots of the past due to their large numbers have got down to capture the fruits of power in dead earnest as if there will be no tomorrow.

This hardly makes sense.

The true sense of the idea of a caste system is being born into a group that you cannot get out of. I.e. the "untouchables" in India. They will never, no matter what they do, rise above this caste.

The last time I checked, this is not the case in the United States.

Also, one of the freedoms that we have is the freedom of religion. That is one thing that make this country great.

Maybe you can clarify your question some more.

some castes became backward because of social discrimination . notwithstanding the authorities. on the grounds that 1947 has taken up the challenge and punishing the discrimination anyplace that is . the prevailing difficulty is that reservations are being carried on , depending on previous and previous data.they should be made upto date . further, the households which have benifited from reservation regulations, proceed to benifit leaving different individuals of their own caste to proceed to conflict through. So, sensible exams are required on party with the intention to lessen the quantum of reservations , even although the numbers of eligible backward everybody is turning out to be. No revisions of regulations have taken up to now. the human beings of this usa trust the judiciary more advantageous than the legislators .so as that they want the rulings from judiciary in this challenge and not in any respect from legislators (because of their histories). The spirit of the structure should be respected .

You should have answered this question when Bush stole not one, but 2 elections. He was born without a functioning brain but WITH a silver spoon in his mouth. (I'll probably get a violation for saying this since the political adversaries & religious adversaries seem to have free reign on here) He received a "gentlemans" C which does NOT mean that he earned a C average, it means that his father donated enough money to the school & had enough power to let him pass. He was AWOL & never paid for it. That covers the caste part. I'll get into the religion part another time. I need to calm down.

you are absolutely wrong have you ever gone through the copy of the constitution, you seem to me a half educated person.ours is the most balanced constitution in the world,it may be applyed wrongly after all this is democrasy, how can the politics of our country be free of trouble when most of the educated people go on picknick on the election day, leaving it to the people of slums to decide the future of our country.
