Best ever? Dead Kennedys belong on the list, but I have to go a little more classic. The Ramones of course. The Stooges. The Clash are my personal favorite. 999. The Fall. The Damned. The Germs. If you like Dead Kennedys you should check out a band called MDC....similar political style hard core. Not as talented or clever, but good. I really like Material Issue and Gang of Four.

idk if u would consider Fall Out Boy, Taking Back Sunday, The All-American Rejects, or Panic! At the Disco crap, but they're considered some of the best punk bands ever to me.
